The company has specifically advised motorists traveling on key highways, including Berrechid, Marrakech, Khouribga, Béni Mellal, Taza, Oujda, Rabat, and Khémisset, to be particularly careful and to check traffic conditions before embarking on their journeys. The General Directorate of Meteorology has classified the situation as an orange-level alert, indicating that locally intense thunderstorms may occur, accompanied by wind gusts and potential hail in certain areas.
According to the meteorological source, rainfall amounts ranging from 30 to 40 mm are anticipated in regions such as Khémisset, Sidi Slimane, Khénifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Settat, Marrakech, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Al Haouz, and Rehamna. This weather event is projected to occur on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additionally, rainfall between 25 to 30 mm is expected in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceïma, Driouch, Taza, and Taounate, from Monday at 6:00 PM until Tuesday at 6:00 AM.
