Luxury Redefined: Waldorf Astoria Unveils Its Latest Gem in Rabat
The renowned hotel group Waldorf Astoria has officially opened its doors within the striking Mohammed VI Tower, situated between the historic cities of Rabat and Salé. This luxurious establishment boasts breathtaking views from the tallest building in Morocco, enhancing the skyline with its impressive structure.
Housing 55 floors, the Mohammed VI Tower is a recognized landmark that even features on the 200 dirham banknote, making it a symbol of national pride. As the third tallest skyscraper in Africa, it stands majestically along the banks of the Bouregreg River, adjacent to the Grand Theater designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid and numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites.
According to Euronews, this opening aligns with Morocco's national ambition to attract 20 million tourists by 2030. Guy Hutchinson, the President of Hilton for the Middle East and Africa, remarked that this new addition sets a “new standard for refined luxury” in the Moroccan capital.
