Tunisia's Impressive Performance

At the 2026 Para-Athletics Grand Prix held in Rabat, Tunisia showcased an outstanding performance, clinching a total of eight medals, including four golds, three silvers, and one bronze. This remarkable achievement highlights Tunisia's growing prowess in para-athletics and underscores the dedication and talent of its athletes. The event concluded on a high note, with Tunisian athletes demonstrating their skills and determination in various disciplines.

Notable Achievements and Records

On the final day of competition, Raja Jebali stole the spotlight by winning the gold medal in the shot put (F40 category) with a remarkable throw of 8.26 meters, setting a new personal record. Meanwhile, Jihene Aziz secured a silver medal in the shot put (F44-F46 category) with an impressive throw of 11.21 meters, also marking her best personal performance. Throughout the earlier days of the competition, gold medals were claimed by Yosra Ben Jemaa in the javelin (F34 category), Raoua Tlili in the discus (F40-F41 category), and Yassine Guennichi in the shot put (F35-F36 category). Silver medals were awarded to Raoua Tlili in the shot put (F41 category) and Aymen Lakoum in the shot put (F40-F41 category), while Youssef Ouhibi earned a bronze in the 5000 meters (T12-T13 category).

The Tunisian team, composed of 12 dedicated athletes, included Raoua Tlili (shot put and discus – F41), Soumaya Boussaïd (1500 m – T12/T13), Yassine Guennichi (shot put – F36), Samar Ben Kaâlab (shot put – F41), Aymen Lakoum (shot put – F41), Yosra Ben Jemaa (shot put and javelin – F34), Raja Jebali (shot put – F40), Jihene Aziz (shot put – F46), Fathia Amaïmia (shot put and discus – F41), Youssef Ouhibi (1500 m – T12), Amir Soltane (shot put and discus – F11), and Mohamed Trabelsi (javelin – F34).
