A serious road accident occurred in the underground passage at Bab Khmiss in Marrakech earlier today, Saturday, involving a violent collision between a three-wheeled vehicle and a motorcycle. According to sources, the incident happened when a young woman riding a motorcycle collided head-on with the driver of the three-wheeled vehicle. This collision caused the driver to fall onto the sidewalk, resulting in severe head injuries, while the young woman also sustained critical injuries that necessitated her urgent transfer to the Mohammed VI University Hospital for medical treatment.
Upon being alerted to the accident, police and civil protection officers rushed to the scene, securing the area and transporting the victim's body to the morgue. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities have initiated an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor to determine the circumstances and details surrounding this fatal incident.
