Moroccan Football Federation Announces Throne Cup Round of 16 Schedule

On May 5, 2026, the Moroccan Football Federation officially released the detailed schedule for the matches in the Round of 16 for the 2024-2025 season of the Throne Cup. The matches are set to take place from Friday, May 15, to Sunday, May 17, 2026. The games will be divided between the northern and southern regions of the country, starting with two exciting encounters on the opening day.

The action kicks off on Friday, May 15, with a match featuring Moghreb Tétouan facing off against Chabab Al-Fath in the Saniat Rmel Stadium, while another match will see Chabab Mohammedia host Chabab Ben Guerir at the Bichir Stadium in Mohammedia. The following day, Saturday, May 16, promises a classic showdown between Raja Casablanca and Salmi Sports at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, while Nahdat Berkane will take on Wydad Fes at the municipal stadium in Berkane. In the southern region, Hassania Agadir will welcome Future Marssa at the Grand Agadir Stadium.

On Sunday, May 17, fans can look forward to a highly anticipated match between Qaneitra Club and Ittihad Tangier, alongside a “Fassi” clash between Ittihad Yaacoub Mansour and Maghreb Fes at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat. Additionally, Wydad Casablanca will visit Raja Beni Mellal for a match, with the venue yet to be confirmed, as well as a duel between Difaâ Hassani Jadidi and Ittihad Ait Melloul.

Notably, the match between the Royal Army and the Moroccan Stade has been postponed to a later date due to the military team's continental commitments, allowing them extra time before entering the prestigious cup competition.

The participating clubs are eager to avoid early upsets, particularly under the “decisive match” system that provides smaller clubs with a legitimate ambition to challenge the giants and continue their dreams in this prestigious domestic tournament.
