Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued for Multiple Regions in Morocco

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning predicting strong localized thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and potential hail in several regions across Morocco. This weather phenomenon is expected to impact various areas today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday.

According to the warning, classified as an 'orange alert' level, rainfall from these thunderstorms is anticipated to range between 30 to 40 millimeters in the provinces of Khémisset, Sidi Slimane, Khenifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Settat, Marrakech, Qalaat Sraghna, Al Haouz, and Rhamna. These conditions are forecasted to occur today, Monday, from 2 PM until 11 PM.

Furthermore, a similar weather pattern is expected in the regions of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Driouch, Taza, and Taounate, where rainfall amounts between 25 to 30 millimeters are predicted. These storms are set to commence today at 6 PM and continue until tomorrow, Tuesday, at 6 AM.
