The security forces in Marrakech have swiftly mobilized following the circulation of a video that captures violent clashes and stone-throwing among several individuals in a public street. This alarming incident has resulted in significant damage to multiple private vehicles.
Investigations have revealed that the events depicted in the video are currently being handled by law enforcement as part of an ongoing judicial process, initiated after one of the victims filed a formal complaint on Tuesday morning, June 16, 2026.
Through field and technical investigations, authorities were able to identify several alleged participants in the violence, leading to the arrest of two individuals suspected of involvement in these events. The suspects, aged 22 and 27, have been placed under judicial custody by order of the competent public prosecutor, pending the completion of the judicial investigation.
Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the identities of other individuals involved in the violent acts and stone-throwing, with efforts focused on uncovering all circumstances and backgrounds related to this case.
