Authorities Successfully Locate Missing Norwegian Tourist
On Tuesday, July 28, law enforcement officials from the Agadir Security Directorate, in coordination with the police services in Marrakech, successfully identified the whereabouts of a 34-year-old Norwegian citizen. This individual had been reported missing by his family after they lost contact with him during his vacation in Morocco.
The search operation was initiated when authorities in Marrakech received information regarding the tourist's absence from a scheduled return flight to Norway, coupled with the family's concern over his sudden disappearance. This prompted an urgent investigation to locate him and ensure his well-being.
Through diligent inquiries and effective collaboration between the police departments in both cities, the missing tourist was found in a hotel in Agadir. Upon locating him, officials confirmed that he was in good health and had not suffered any harm or incident that could explain his absence. Moreover, there were no indications of any criminal activity related to his disappearance.
The Norwegian tourist was then referred to the local judicial police department in Agadir to complete the legal procedures associated with the family search protocol, which included notifying his family in Norway of the successful outcome of the search, thus alleviating the anxiety that had surrounded his disappearance.
