Additionally, on February 19, during the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council in Washington, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita announced the country's intention to send police and military personnel to Gaza, marking Morocco as the first Arab nation to publicly commit to such a deployment. Bourita also mentioned plans to establish a field hospital in Gaza and emphasized Morocco's financial contributions to the Peace Council, reiterating that, "Under the High Instructions of His Majesty, Morocco is committed to supporting the Peace Council's efforts in Gaza, particularly in security, health, and promoting tolerance and coexistence."
