Morocco PME Unveils the PACTE TPME 2026-2030: A Landmark Initiative for Small and Medium Enterprises

On May 3, 2026, Morocco took a significant step towards bolstering its economy with the official launch of the PACTE TPME 2026-2030 by Maroc PME in the capital city of Rabat. This initiative was presided over by Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, marking a strategic national plan aimed at accelerating the growth and transformation of very small, small, and medium enterprises (TPME) across the nation. Recognizing that these enterprises constitute a vital part of Morocco's economic fabric, accounting for nearly 50% of employment, the PACTE TPME is designed to provide robust support and foster resilience, competitiveness, and growth among these businesses.

The strategic framework of the PACTE TPME is built upon four major pillars: structuring, resilience, competitiveness, and growth. Through these pillars, the program aspires to assist TPMEs in all regions of Morocco, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to thrive in an increasingly competitive environment. Anouar Alaoui Ismaili, the Director General of Maroc PME, also introduced a refreshed visual identity for the agency, reflecting a modernized vision looking towards 2030. This initiative is seen as a crucial step in enhancing investment, creating jobs, and reinforcing Morocco's economic sovereignty.
