During its participation in the second International Migration Review Forum held from May 5 to May 8, 2026, the kingdom highlighted its most significant achievements and best practices in this domain, reflecting a proactive and intentional vision.
The Moroccan government voluntarily presented a detailed overview of its policies, strategies, and practical programs that align with the 23 objectives outlined in the Marrakech Migration Pact. These initiatives encompass various fields, including the humane management of borders, ensuring migrants have access to health and educational services, and fostering their socio-economic integration.
This approach is rooted in the lofty directives of King Mohammed VI, who emphasized that the Global Compact for Migration only gains significance through the actual implementation of its contents. The International Organization for Migration has documented over a hundred best practices developed by Morocco in this area, showcasing the effectiveness of the Moroccan experience.
The kingdom was invited to share its experiences during this international forum, reaffirming its position as a committed actor in global migration governance.
