Mobile Consulate Services in Menorca
The Shabab Menorca Association has announced that the Moroccan Mobile Consulate will be present in Menorca on May 9 and 10. This initiative aims to assist individuals with inquiries related to administrative procedures, documentation required for regularization processes, and to provide consular services such as passport renewals. Furthermore, those wishing to collect their criminal record certificates can do so on-site, thus eliminating the need for travel to Mallorca.
Recently, Shabab organized a meeting at its headquarters in Maó, which attracted considerable interest, with approximately 120 attendees. This turnout underscores the significant demand for information regarding the regularization process, as stated in a press release. The session covered essential aspects of the regularization procedures, followed by a question-and-answer segment where participants were able to share personal situations and receive individualized assistance.
Support for Migrants
It is important to note that organizations such as Càritas and Cruz Roja also provide guidance and support to migrants undergoing the regularization process. However, neither of these organizations is accredited in the Balearic Islands to issue vulnerability certificates. This limitation highlights the necessity for alternative support systems for those in need of legal and administrative assistance.
