Marrakech Municipal Council Launches Major Sports Project
The Marrakech Municipal Council has officially initiated a significant sports project in the Hay Mohammedi Daoudiat area within the Gueliz district. This initiative aims to construct two proximity soccer fields featuring artificial turf. The project is part of a broader strategy to enhance sports infrastructure and make recreational services more accessible to residents.
In this context, the Deputy Mayor, Mohammed Idrissi, along with the technical team, conducted a site visit to assess the progress of the construction work. This visit was essential for ensuring that the ongoing work adheres to established technical standards and specifications.
Moreover, this visit served as a platform to emphasize the importance of adhering to the project’s timeline, which is crucial for delivering the facilities as scheduled. The timely completion of this project will provide the local community, particularly the youth, with access to modern and free sports spaces, thereby promoting physical activity and fostering social integration.
This project aligns with the council's vision to enhance local infrastructure and improve living conditions within neighborhoods by providing sports facilities that meet the expectations of residents and support community dynamism.
