Inaugural Scientific Forum on Digital Transformation and Social Governance in Fès-Meknes
The Fès-Meknes region is set to host its first scientific forum on June 13-14, 2026, focusing on the theme "Digital Transformation and Social Governance: Challenges for Families and Society." This significant event will bring together a distinguished group of researchers, experts, and institutional as well as civil society leaders from both Morocco and abroad. The goal is to foster a rigorous academic discussion surrounding digital transformations and their societal impacts.
This academic forum is organized by the Multidisciplinary Researchers Council, the University Journal of Research and Studies, the International Center for Intellectual Property and Legal Studies, the Lebanese Real Estate Authority, and the Moroccan Center for Studies and Research in Media Sciences and Development, in collaboration with the Fès-Meknes region. It aims to enhance academic dynamics and facilitate the exchange of expertise in digitalization and governance.
The forum seeks to discuss the implications of digital transformation on families and society while promoting scientific dialogue about digital social governance. Additionally, it will explore interdisciplinary solutions and approaches to tackle the challenges posed by digitalization, especially in light of the rapid pace of technological change and its economic, social, and cultural dimensions.
The forum's program will focus on several key topics, including digital transformation and social governance, the impact of digitalization on families, and the role of digital tools in enhancing societal cohesion. This will be achieved through specialized scientific sessions, roundtable discussions featuring experts and practitioners, and interactive workshops aimed at doctoral students, alongside a moment of recognition for a guest of honor.
This scientific gathering targets a wide audience, including university faculty, master’s and doctoral students, government sector professionals, local authorities, and civil society organizations, as well as national and international bodies interested in digital governance issues.
Participants will have opportunities to earn participation certificates, publish scientific research, and enhance academic and institutional networking among various stakeholders. The organizing committee has set May 15, 2026, as the final date for submitting research abstracts, inviting interested parties to send their contributions via email to consielchercheures@gmail.com.
Moreover, those wishing to attend the forum can register in advance through the following electronic form: Registration Form. The organizing committee emphasizes that seating is limited, and priority will be given to pre-registered participants. This forum represents a promising scientific platform for contributing to the development of innovative concepts for fair, inclusive, and sustainable digital governance that addresses the challenges faced by families and society in the digital age.
