Family Raises Alarm for Missing Scottish Model in Morocco

Concerns Mount for Missing Influencer Rachel Kerr

The family of Rachel Kerr, a 31-year-old Scottish influencer, is expressing deep concern for her safety after she went missing during a trip to Morocco. Rachel, who hails from Dunblane, was last seen leaving the SMART nightclub in Agadir at approximately 5 AM on Saturday, April 25, after which she checked out of her hotel without any further communication with her loved ones.

Rachel, known for her engaging travel content and a following of around 9,000 on social media, had traveled to Morocco in January and was reportedly working on various projects during her stay. However, her last post was dated April 13, raising alarms about her well-being. As the days pass without any communication, her family has organized search efforts in Agadir, hoping to gather any information that could lead to her whereabouts.

Public Appeal for Assistance

Peter Kerr, Rachel's brother, has made a heartfelt appeal to the public, urging anyone with contacts in Agadir to help disseminate a missing person poster featuring Rachel's information. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, "Anyone with contacts in Agadir, Morocco, can you show them this and see if they have any information?" Furthermore, he has requested that individuals who might have spotted Rachel refrain from approaching her directly and instead report any sightings to the authorities.

Rachel’s cousin, Claire Hill, echoed this sentiment, urging anyone who interacted with Rachel recently to come forward with information, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Claire stated, "Her family are extremely concerned for her welfare," highlighting the emotional toll this situation has taken on Rachel's loved ones. The public's support and cooperation are crucial as efforts continue to locate her and ensure her safe return.

Rachel was last seen at the Caribbean Village Agadir resort, and reports indicate that she had run out of funds shortly before her disappearance. Her family is anxiously awaiting news, and a spokesperson for the Foreign Office has confirmed that they are providing assistance to Rachel's family during this distressing time.
