These gatherings not only showcase the charm of Tula but also include a range of recreational activities and family-friendly competitions, such as ball races and balance challenges, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment among participants.
A Celebration of Culture and Community
This street festival is deeply rooted in Tula's traditions, marking the celebration of San Antonio de Padua. Every year, it attracts singles, visitors, and the local community, all eager to immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere that features a musical band, a donkey bar, colorful puppets known as mojigangas, and traditional clay jugs called jarritos. The event preserves one of the town's most cherished customs, creating a memorable experience for all who attend.
The procession will conclude at the local fairgrounds where attendees can enjoy a performance from a norteño band in the venue's theater. This promises a delightful blend of camaraderie and entertainment, ensuring that Tamaulipas captures the hearts of all its visitors.
