Top 12 Extra Virgin Olive Oils Recognized in Morocco for 2026
In a prestigious event held in Meknès during the International Agricultural Show of Morocco (SIAM), twelve exceptional extra virgin olive oils were honored as the best in the country for the 2025/2026 olive oil campaign. This competition, now in its 16th edition, was presided over by the Minister of Agriculture, Ahmed El Bouari, and aimed to celebrate the highest quality olive oil production in Morocco. The event drew participation from 77 producers representing five distinct regions, showcasing the rich diversity and high standards of olive oil production in the country.
This annual contest not only highlights the excellence of Moroccan olive oils but also serves as a vital platform to encourage producers to embrace best practices in cultivation, processing, and marketing.
