Morocco Medical Expo 2026 Kicks Off in Casablanca

The fifth edition of the Morocco Medical Expo 2026 commenced on April 16th in Casablanca, taking place at the International Exhibition and Conference Center in Aïn Sebaâ, under the esteemed patronage of King Mohammed VI. This significant event is positioned as a pivotal platform aimed at supporting reforms within Morocco's healthcare system and enhancing its presence on both African and international stages.

The opening ceremony featured an inaugural conference attended by institutional leaders, healthcare professionals, experts, and private operators from Morocco and abroad. The expo, which runs until April 19th, brings together various stakeholders from the healthcare ecosystem, promoting a collaborative approach that integrates innovation, investment, and cooperation.

Spanning a wide array of activities, the event showcases everything from pharmaceutical laboratories and medical devices to healthcare facilities, universities, medical imaging, analytical laboratories, and emergency transport services. This diversity reflects the gradual structuring of a sector undergoing transformation, facing challenges related to industrialization, digitalization, and the enhancement of healthcare services.

Fostering Innovation and Collaboration

Designed as a hub for professional exchanges, the Morocco Medical Expo 2026 aims to stimulate strategic partnerships and foster the emergence of innovative solutions tailored to public health challenges. The event aligns with national directives regarding healthcare reform, focusing on governance, the expansion of social protection, and the improvement of service quality.

In addition to the exhibition space, a comprehensive scientific program facilitates discussions through various forums and specialized meetings, including the Global African Health Forum, the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Days, and the National Biomedical Engineering Days. Over 130 speakers are set to participate in numerous sessions covering a broad range of topics related to healthcare systems, biomedical engineering, and medical technologies.

On the organizational front, nearly 120 exhibitors from around twenty countries are participating in this edition, which occupies approximately 8,000 square meters, with expectations of attracting more than 12,000 professional visitors. With its extensive reach and increasing international significance, the expo reinforces Morocco's position as a regional hub for health and medical innovation.
