The circumstances surrounding her disappearance prompted an immediate appeal for information.
According to a statement released by the police on April 29, an investigation was initiated after receiving a report on April 27 about Kerr leaving her hotel without any means of contact. Fortunately, authorities were able to trace her to an apartment within the city. The police confirmed that Kerr had voluntarily departed from her hotel and had not experienced any form of assault or intimidation. She is now continuing her stay in Morocco and is in regular contact with her brother, alleviating the concerns that had previously been raised.
