Mohamed Achouika, a distinguished researcher and critic, serves as a professor at the Regional Center for Education and Training in the Marrakech-Safi region. He is recognized as a prominent figure in both Moroccan and Arab cultural and cinematic spheres. His contributions have significantly enriched the Arabic library through a variety of critical works, studies, translations, and creative endeavors. Notable among his publications are titles such as "The Cinematic Image: Technique and Interpretation" (2005), "Maghrebian Cinema: Issues of Uniqueness and Diversity" (2017), "Cinematic Presentation as a Worldview" (2018), "Moroccan Cinema: From Public Service to Public Debate" (2020), and the forthcoming "Cinema Theory" (2026), along with many others.

Apart from his written works, Achouika has penned several screenplays for both short and feature films, including "Pidoza" and "The Circle." These works have been critically acclaimed, capturing the attention of scholars and critics alike, and have been extensively analyzed and studied within the context of contemporary Moroccan cinema.
