Moroccan Diaspora's Impact on Political Engagement Highlighted at Paris Conference

During a recent conference in Paris, the President of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), Mohamed Chouki, emphasized the significant interest shown by Moroccans living abroad in political affairs, showcasing their active contribution to enhancing Morocco's image internationally across various domains, particularly in cultural, economic, political, sports, and scientific fields. This event was part of the party's branch conference in France, themed "Moroccans in France... A Renewed Commitment to Serve the Nation." Chouki praised the involvement of party members in France, asserting that the RNI's choice to fully integrate Moroccans worldwide into its organizational structures stems from a strong belief in the necessity of considering their ideas and expectations within the party's directions and discussions.

In this context, he highlighted the pivotal role of Moroccan expatriates in transferring expertise and attracting national investments, along with their contributions to strengthening the Kingdom's balance of payments, describing them as the "essential bridge" connecting Morocco with their countries of residence. Chouki also reviewed the profound transformations taking place in Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, particularly in diplomatic, social, economic, and industrial realms, as well as in infrastructure and investment sectors. He urged party activists and supporters to continue their mobilization and engage in electoral lists to contribute actively to the vibrant dynamics currently unfolding in the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Rashida Habri, the party coordinator in France, expressed her pride in the strong attendance of party members during the conference, considering that this mobilization reflects the party's commitment to making Moroccans globally a key partner in the political and economic development of the Kingdom. She affirmed that Moroccans living abroad have now become a real force contributing to enhancing Morocco's international visibility and defending its national issues. Furthermore, she added that this conference embodies the RNI's approach based on proximity, openness, and strengthening its presence among the Moroccan diaspora abroad.

In addition, Lahcen Saadi, the President of the National Federation of RNI Youth, highlighted the progress Morocco has made on the social front, pointing out that the social programs implemented by the government help ensure a dignified life for citizens. Saadi also stressed the importance of continuing this reform dynamic and bolstering social gains. The event was attended by various notable figures, including Anis Bero, the Coordinator for the Moroccan Diaspora, Nabila Rmili, the Head of the National Council of RNI Health Professionals and Mayor of Casablanca, and Amina Benkhadra, the Head of the National Federation of RNI Women, along with Mohamed Bou Said, the party's regional coordinator for the Casablanca-Settat region.
